New currency notes will be available in Britain. They will be designed with the portrait of King Charles III, who took over as the new king after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The Bank of England has released a model currency for this.

London: It is known that after the death of British Queen Elizabeth II (Queen Elizabeth II), King Charles III (74) took over the duties. New currency notes with King Charles III’s photo are going into circulation there. 5, 10, 20, 50 pounds (Pound Sterling) notes are being printed with the image of King Charles. Bank of England (Bank of England) released the model notes. It said that these will come into circulation from 2024. Old notes will also be valid.

‘We are proud to launch banknotes bearing the image of King Charles III. He is the second king to appear on the notes. That’s why it’s such an incredible moment. These will come into circulation in 2024. Along with these, notes with the image of the Queen will also be in use,” said Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey.

In Britain, bank notes were made of paper in the past, but polymer currency notes have been printed for some time. The image of King Charles III has been designed to appear on the front of the newly introduced bank notes as well as the security window. The Bank of England has said that it is currently printing new notes to replace worn out notes in order to reduce the impact of the latest change on the economy as well as the environment.
