After High court judge and Chief Principal Commissioner of Central Tax fraudsters used BBMP commissioner ‘s name to run Amazon gift card scam.
Nagesh K,Deputy Chief Information officer of BBMP IT cell,has filed a complaint with the Central division cyber crime police on Thursday.
In his complaint Mr.Nagesh said that the accused not only used BBMP Commissioner , Tushar Girinath’s pic in his whatsapp DP and name but also communicated with his friend recommending him to buy amazon gift card .
He also shared the link to make the purchases.This is the most common form of cyber fraud as frauds are misusing the names of VIPs to cheat people .
Based on the complaint,the cyber crime police are trying to track down the accused through the mobile number he was using as BBMP commissioner .
