The Karnataka government on Saturday carried out a major reshuffle in the police department,transferring 15 IPS officers with immediate effect.
Among the key changes,ADGP Harishekaran P has been transferred from Crimes and Technical Services and posted as ADGP,Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, in the upgraded post.
ADGP M.Nanjundaswami has been posted as ADGP, Grievances & Human Rights,replacing Devajyoti Ray.
ADGP Devajyoti Ray has been transferred to ADGP, Crimes and Technical Services,replacing Harishekaran P.
At the range and commissionerate levels,Amit Singh has been transferred from Western Range,Mangaluru,and posted as IGP,Karnataka State Reserve Police,in the upgraded post.
Borase Bhushan Gulabrao,who was Belagavi City Police Commissioner,has been transferred and posted as DIG & Commissioner of Police,Hubballi-Dharwad.
R.Chethan,who was awaiting posting,has been appointed DIG,Western Range,Mangaluru,in the downgraded post.
Nikam Prakash Amrit has been appointed DIG & Commissioner of Police,Belagavi City.

The transfers and postings are effective immediately and until further orders.
