A bike rider had a miraculous escape after a speeding tipper truck collided with his motorcycle and ran over it in Bengaluru’s Jakkur area.
The incident occurred at around 10.45 am on Friday at MCECHS Layout in Jakkur and was captured on CCTV.
The rider,identified as Sachin Shetty,was travelling on his Yezdi motorcycle when the tipper,allegedly driven by Mahesh, hit him.
The impact threw Sachin onto the road, following which the tipper ran over his bike.
Fortunately,Sachin had fallen away from the motorcycle and escaped with only minor injuries.
The Hebbal Traffic Police have taken tipper driver Mahesh into custody and are investigating the incident.
