The Bidadi police have registered a suo motu case against more than 15 protestors who allegedly blocked a road in Bairamangala village while protesting against the proposed Bidadi Township project.
According to the FIR,the protesters allegedly blocked the road,disrupting the movement of the public, schoolchildren and goods vehicles.
The police said the road blockade caused inconvenience to commuters and affected the movement of vehicles.
The case has been registered against protesters identified as Gireesh,Chetan,Chandrashekar,
The FIR was registered at Bidadi Police Station based on a complaint by PSI Devaraju.
The police have invoked provisions relating to obstruction of public movement in connection with the protest.
