The City Police have seized drugs worth Rs.55.80 crore and arrested 39 drug peddlers,including eight foreign nationals,21 people from other states and 10 locals,as part of Mission Rise and a special crackdown against narcotic substances.
The operation was carried out across several police station limits in the city.Police said the accused were procuring banned drugs at low prices from foreign, interstate and unidentified suppliers and selling them at higher prices to the public, including college students.
According to City Police Commissioner,Seemant Kumar Singh,the seizures included 21 kg 641 grams of MDMA, 738 grams of cocaine,4 kg 493 grams of hydro ganja, 184 kg 625 grams of ganja,1 kg 65 grams of Afim,25 grams of mephedrone,along with 22 mobile phones and five two-wheelers.Police also seized Rs.17 lakh in cash from the accused.

The 39 arrested accused were produced before the courts on different dates and have been remanded to judicial custody,the Commissioner said.
Police are continuing efforts to trace the unidentified persons who allegedly supplied the drugs to the arrested accused.
The Girinagar police arrested French national Demba Jouma Francis and seized 4 kg 378 grams of MDMA, valued at around Rs.10.36 crore, police said.
According to the police,the accused had established contact with African drug suppliers in Delhi,procured drugs at a low price and transported them to Bengaluru.
He was allegedly staying in a rented house at Shivakote in Yelahanka and selling the drugs.Similarly the Amruthahalli police seized 14 kg 436 grams of MDMA, valued at approximately Rs.28.88 crore, and have taken up further investigation.
In a similar operation,the CCB Anti-Narcotics Wing arrested four persons, including foreign nationals, in connection with three cases and seized drugs worth approximately Rs.8.88 crore.








The seizure included 738 grams of cocaine,336 grams of MDMA and 82 kg 305 grams of ganja, besides two two-wheelers and three mobile phones.
In another operation,KIA police seized 4 kg 278 grams of hydro ganja, valued at around ₹3 crore,in three cases.


The Yeshwanthpur police seized 650 grams of MDMA and 41 kg 446 grams of ganja, valued at approximately ₹1.71 crore,in two cases.
Police also seized one two-wheeler and three mobile phones.Yelahanka police seized 794 grams of MDMA, worth around Rs.1.59 crore,along with two mobile phones.
Seizures across multiple police stations:
Hebbal police seized 96 grams of MDMA,along with two mobile phones and ₹17 lakh in cash,while Nandini Layout police recovered 150 grams of MDMA,eight mobile phones and a two-wheeler.
Kadugodi police seized 15 kg 800 grams of ganja,while Malleswaram police recovered 215 grams of hydro ganja worth approximately ₹15.05 lakh.

Govindapura police seized 11 kg 270 grams of ganja, valued at ₹11.27 lakh.
Bagalur police seized 25 grams of mephedrone and 5 kg 780 grams of ganja in two cases.
Mahadevapura police seized 10 kg 579 grams of ganja, while Mahalakshmi Layout police recovered 1 kg 65 grams of Afim,one two-wheeler and two mobile phones.
Begur police seized 10 kg of ganja,while Kothanur police recovered 7 kg 445 grams of ganja.
