The death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has caused deep sorrow.Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that following Ajit Pawar’s demise,the NDA alliance has suffered a major loss in Maharashtra.
Speaking to the media in Haveri,he said that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died in a plane accident.“This is indeed a tragic incident.We have lost many leaders in plane crashes.
Ajit Pawar being added to that list is truly unfortunate. May Ajit Pawar’s soul rest in peace,and may God grant strength to his family to bear this grief,”he said.
Responding to a question about his association with Ajit Pawar,he said that Ajit Pawar’s uncle Sharad Pawar had an association with his father.
Whenever Sharad Pawar visited their house,Ajit Pawar would also accompany him.After Ajit Pawar joined the NDA,their association had grown stronger.
He further said that after Ajit Pawar’s demise,it is uncertain how politics will unfold in the Pune region.
