The Bandepalya Police have arrested a Foreign National for allegedly peddling banned Narcotic substances, including MDMA tablets and cocaine powder,near Somasandrapalya Lake in the city.
Senior officer told reporters that on October 30,2025, officers received a tip-off from a credible informant that a person was selling drugs in the area.
Acting on the information,the police conducted a raid and apprehended the accused at the spot.
During interrogation,the accused revealed that he had come to India in 2018 on a business visa and initially worked in the garment trade in Delhi.
About three months ago,he shifted to Bengaluru and began living with an acquaintance.During this period,he allegedly started buying MDMA tablets and cocaine at low prices from an unidentified supplier in the city and selling them at higher rates to college students and other customers.
The police seized 752 grams of MDMA tablets,8 grams and 37 ML of cocaine powder, and a two-wheeler used for the illegal trade.The total value of the seized contraband is estimated at Rs.75 lakh.
The accused was produced before the court on October 31 and remanded to judicial custody.
