A couple living together were found dead at the house they were living in Jigani near Anekal on Monday .
The deceased have been identified as Seema Nayak,25, and Rakesh Nayak,23.
Senior officer told reporters that the deceased natives of Odisha,and were living in a rented house in Kallubalu village in Jigani Rakesh was working in a security service firm while Seema was working in a supermarket.
He further said that the duo suspected to have ended their lives two days ago,and came to light on Monday as neighbours noticed foul smell emanating from the house and no movement from inside as the house remained locked for a few days.
The neighbours grew suspicious and broke a window to find the couple dead inside.They alerted Jigani police who along witth the FSL team rushed to the spot and conducted investigation.
Probe revealed that the couple were staying along with one of their friend, who left the house on Friday after noticing a quarrel between the couple.
Seema was upset over Rakesh’s alcohol addiction and after a fight police suspect that Rakesh might have hanged himself.
When Seema noticed and failed to save him.Realizing he is dead,she too might have ended her life.The bodies were shifted for the postmortem and waiting for the report for further investigations .
