The Bengaluru City Railway Police on Thursday arrested a 32-year-old labourer for groping a woman passenger on the busy platform 7 at Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station on Thurdday.
The victim wife of station master,had come to the city from whitefield to consult a doctor as her husband was unwell .
After getting down at the station,the victim went to the near-by shop to buy water bottle when the accused pounced on her and molested.
Shocked victim raised alarm prompting the passers-by to rush to her help and caught the accused.He was thrashed and handed over to the police.
The police questioned the accused identified as Ladura Munda,resident of Mayur Bhanj,Odisha,was arrested for outraging the modesty of a woman and remanded to judicial custody.
