To ensure comprehensive participation in the Scheduled Castes (SC) Survey being conducted across the BBMP limits,Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao has instructed officials to begin placing stickers on every household starting tomorrow, i.e.from June 23,2025.

The Government of Karnataka has launched a state-wide door-to-door survey from May 5,2025,to collect scientific empirical data on the representation of the 101 Scheduled Castes listed in the state’s reservation categories, particularly focusing on their presence in education and government services.

The responsibility of conducting this important survey to ensure social justice for all, especially for Scheduled Castes, has been entrusted to the Justice Nagamohan Das Commission.

As part of this effort,BBMP teams or enumerators will visit homes of individuals belonging to Scheduled Castes starting from June 23, 2025, to carry out the survey. To confirm that the visit has taken place, a sticker will be affixed to each household.

Residents are requested to cooperate with BBMP teams or enumerators during their visit and provide accurate information.Additionally, please do not remove the sticker placed on your home.

In order to achieve 100% coverage, families belonging to Scheduled Castes in Karnataka who have not yet participated in the survey are given a final opportunity to do so by June 30, 2025,through the following options:

1.Citizen service centres such as Karnataka One, Bengaluru One,Grama One,and Bapuji Seva Kendras.

2.Dedicated survey camps set up at BBMP ward offices across the 198 wards within BBMP limits.

3. Online self-declaration via the link: https://schedulecastesurvey.karnataka.gov.in/selfdeclaration.

The survey deadline has been extended from June 23 to June 30,2025,specifically to provide a final chance for Scheduled Caste families across the state who have not yet participated.

To help achieve 100% survey completion in Bengaluru city, the public is kindly urged to participate and cooperate in this important initiative.
