he Vidhana Soudha police booked seven people for allegedly raising slogans during the Karnataka Budget presentation on Friday.
The case was opened against Vijayakumar A,Suresh SV, Venugopal N,Vijayashekar SS,Srinivas SV,Sathyendra Kumar and Rajarathnam M,who hailed from different parts of Bengaluru.
Senior officer told reporters,at around 11.30 AM,the suspects,who had passes and were seated in the public gallery,raised the slogans,“Implement Internal Reservation”.They were subsequently escorted out by the Marshals.
This occurred even as CM Siddaramaiah was presenting the Budget.They were handed over to the police after being questioned by the Marshals.
“They have been booked under BNS sections related to assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty and unlawful assembly.
Further legal action has been initiated,”a senior police officer said.
