Actor Vijayalakshmi and Dhanveer are facing fresh legal trouble after senior advocate Prashanth Methal of the Karnataka High Court lodged complaints with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Income Tax Department, seeking an investigation into an alleged illegal cash transaction involving Rs.10 crore.
The complaints seek a probe into the alleged financial dealings between Vijayalakshmi and Dhanveer in connection with legal proceedings in the case against actor Darshan.

According to the complainant, the alleged transaction involved cash dealings of Rs.10 crore, despite restrictions on cash transactions exceeding ₹2 lakh under the Income Tax Act.

He has urged the authorities to investigate the source of the money, the nature of the transactions and whether any laws were violated.
The advocate has called for a detailed investigation into the alleged financial dealings and sought action in accordance with the law.
“Whether a person is ordinary or wealthy, the law is the same for everyone,”the complainant has stated, stressing the need for a fair investigation into the alleged transaction.
The complaints have brought the dispute between Vijayalakshmi and Dhanveer to the attention of the central investigative and tax authorities. The matter could lead to further scrutiny if the agencies decide to initiate an investigation.
The allegations are yet to be independently established, and the filing of the complaints does not by itself establish any wrongdoing by either Vijayalakshmi or Dhanveer.
