Bengaluru Central Corporation has so far carried out encroachment clearance operations on a total length of 240.75 km of footpaths.
898 small shops,949 pushcarts,620 canopies,388 stairs, 570 advertisement boards,105 temporary stalls and 1,293.60 tonnes of waste and construction waste have been removed from the said footpaths,informed Commissioner,Jagadish.G.
*Today,2.40 km of 3 major roads in the Central Corporation have been cleared.Clearance of footpath encroachments -Jagadish G.
*30 workers,4 JCBs,4 tractors and 4 tippers used for the operation.
*3 push carts,4 small shops,40 steps,19 billboards,51 canopies and 28 tonnes of waste removed in today’s operation.
Today, a special operation to clear 2.40 km of arterial and sub-arterial roads on various footpaths and roads of 3 major roads under the jurisdiction of the Bangalore Central Municipal Corporation was carried out with the help of 30 workers,4 JCBs,4 tractors and 4 tippers with the help of traffic and law and order police officers and other departments.



The Central City Corporation,in collaboration with the Central City Corporation,has successfully carried out the process of clearing encroachments on the road,said Jagadish G,Commissioner of the Central City Corporation.
Details of major operations carried out by division:
1) Shanti Nagar Division:
2 push carts,9 advertisement nameplates and 4 tons of construction waste have been removed from the footpaths of 0.80 km of Indira Nagar Road,100 feet road in Shanti Nagar.
2) Gandhinagar Division:
1 push cart,1 canopy,10 advertisement nameplates and 4 tons of construction waste have been removed from the footpaths of 0.80 km of Avenue Road in Gandhinagar Division
3) Chikkapet Division:
4 small shops,50 canopies,40 stairs and 20 tons of construction waste have been removed from the footpaths of 0.80 km of Avenue Road in Chickpet Division.
The division under the leadership of the Commissioner and Additional Commissioner of Development Operation Successfully Completed.
Under the guidance of Jagadish G,Commissioner of Bangalore Central Municipal Corporation and the leadership of Venkatachalapathy,Additional Commissioner of Development,all the engineers of the works department successfully carried out the related operations in a coordinated manner.
