A 56-year-old man was found dead inside a car on Manipal County Road in the Electronic City area early Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Narayanappa,a resident of Basapura.
Senior officer told reporters that he had left his house around 5 am,but was later found dead inside a Swift car parked along the roadside.Passersby noticed the body inside the vehicle and alerted the police.
Preliminary examination revealed injuries on his face and chest,raising strong suspicion of foul play.
Electronic City police rushed to the spot,conducted an inspection,and informed the family members.
The victim’s relatives have alleged that Narayanappa was murdered and his body was dumped inside the car.
We suspect that a financial dispute could be the motive behind the crime.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.The body has been shifted to St.John’s Hospital for post-mortem examination.
