*Sustainable Energy,India Agenda 2047 – International Conference Concludes Successfully.
Energy Minister K.J. George today stated that along with policy and regulation, coordinated and organised efforts are essential for achieving energy transition.
Delivering the valedictory address,the second day of the international conference titled “Sustainable Energy,India Agenda 2047.
New Thinking on Law,Policy and Innovation for Energy Security,” jointly organised in Bengaluru by the Commonwealth Legal Education Association and the Energy Department,he said that the shift from conventional to renewable energy sources must move beyond ambition and be implemented through structured action.
“This conference has provided a platform for meaningful discussions among the judiciary, policymakers, regulators and industry.
The resolutions emerging from this conference will play a key role in shaping a sustainable energy future,”he said.
“The guidance of Supreme Court Chief Justice,Surya Kant and the Chief Minister,Siddaramaiah played a significant role in bringing together key stakeholders from the judiciary and the energy sector.Special thanks to Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and CLEA President Prof.Dr.S.Shivakumar.
The contributions of distinguished jurists, policymakers, industry leaders and academic experts from India and abroad have been invaluable,”Energy Minister KJ George said.
“Karnataka will continue its leadership by expanding renewable energy, strengthening storage systems, and enhancing infrastructure.
We will work collaboratively to support innovation in the renewable energy sector and achieve a sustainable future.

The judiciary has a critical role in shaping energy policy, and this conference has provided a vital platform for that engagement.
