Shirahatti MLA Chandru Lamani was on Saturday produced before the special court in connection with a trap case and remanded to judicial custody till March 3.
Along with the legislator,his personal assistant Manjunath and an associate, Guru Nayak,were also produced before the judge.
All three accused were sent to judicial custody following the hearing.
According to sources,the arrests were made after the Lokayukta police conducted a trap operation as part of an alleged bribery case.Further investigation is underway.
