Newborn baby boy Found dumped in Garbage heap on platform road FIR filed by Hoysala staff

The Hoysala-4 patrol staff have registered a case after the body of a newborn baby boy was found dumped in a garbage heap on Platform Road,Beside Gandhi Govt School,Sheshadripuram Main road, on Tuesday morning.

According to the complaint filed by Jagadish S,PSI attached to Hoysala-4,the police received a message through the 112 control room around 9.09 am on February 10 regarding a suspected body lying in a garbage dump.

The information was relayed based on a call from a person identified as Balakrishna Nayak,GBA Marshal informed the authorities about the body spotted on the roadside garbage pile.

Acting on the alert,the police rushed to the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection.They found the body of a baby boy lying in the garbage.

The body was reportedly in a decomposed and swollen condition,with the umbilical cord still attached,indicating that the baby had been recently born.

Police suspect that either the parents or unidentified persons may have abandoned the newborn immediately after birth with the intention of causing the infant’s death,or disposed of the body secretly to conceal the birth and avoid social or legal consequences.

A case has been registered,and further investigation is underway to identify those responsible and take appropriate legal action.
