Bike Rider a private firm employee Killed After Hit by speeding Lorry from Behind in Bengaluru

A 29-year-old bike rider was killed after a lorry rammed into his two-wheeler from behind near Nagarabhavi in Bengaluru late on Saturday night.

The accident occurred around 10.30 pm near the Male Mahadeshwara Temple, close to Nammura Tindi in Nagarabhavi limits.

The deceased has been identified as Prakash M D (29), a native of Tumari village in Sagar taluk of Shivamogga district.

Senior officer said Prakash and his friend were returning home after attending a relative’s child’s birthday celebration when the speeding lorry hit their bike from the rear.Prakash suffered critical injuries and died while being shifted to the hospital.

His friend,who was riding pillion,sustained minor injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Prakash was employed with a private gold loan company and was residing in Bengaluru for work.
