Traffic arrangements have been made for the 23rd Chitra Santhe organised by Chitra Kala Parishat at Kumara Krupa Road (K.K. Road)on Sunday .
Artists from across the country will participate and exhibit their drawings and paintings.
In view of the large turnout of artists and the general public expected for the event,all types of vehicular movement will be prohibited on both sides of Kumara Krupa Road,from Windsor Manor Junction to Shivananda Circle,between 5.00 am and 10.00 pm .
Traffic Diversions
Vehicles coming from Mourya Junction and Anandrao Circle towards Windsor Manor should proceed straight from Race View Junction via Race Course Road–Trilight Junction–Basaveshwara Circle–Old High Grounds Junction–T.Chowdaiah Road–Windsor Manor,and move further ahead.
Vehicles coming from T.Chowdaiah Road towards K.K. Road should proceed straight from Windsor Junction, reach Old High Grounds Junction–LRDE,take a right turn towards Basaveshwara Junction,and move further.
Vehicles from Old High Grounds Junction towards Windsor Manor and K.K. Road should proceed straight from Windsor Manor towards R.P. Road and continue further.
Vehicles from Nehru Circle towards Shivananda Junction should move straight via the Steel Bridge to reach Trilight Junction and proceed further.
Vehicles from Mourya Junction and Anand Rao Circle intending to reach K.K.Road should move via Race View Junction and Trilight Junction,proceed towards Basaveshwara Junction,and continue further.
Vehicles from P.G.Halli towards Shivananda Circle should divert via Old High Grounds Junction–LRDE Junction–Basaveshwara Circle–Race Course Road– Trilight Junction,and move ahead.
Parking for Four-Wheelers
Railway Parallel Road.
Crescent Road,from Gururaja Kalyana Mantapa to Hotel Janardhan (western side).
Race Course Road,from Trilight Junction to Mourya Circle (eastern side).
The traffic police have appealed to commuters to cooperate and follow diversions to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
Appeal to the Public
Due to the limited parking availability around Kumara Krupa Road,members of the public attending the 23rd Chitra Santhe are requested to use public transport such as BMTC buses,Metro services,and app-based taxis including Ola and Uber,instead of private vehicles.
This will help ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth conduct of the event.
