The Nandagudi police on Thursday arrested a 36-year-old Nigerian National who killed the manager of the residential building where he was staying as tenant,over a trivial row over rent on last Monday.
The accused has been identified as,Daniel Chinagro Alasso bobby,was on the run and was hiding at an isolated place in Avalahalli from where the police track him down and arrested.
Senior officer told media persons, bobby came to India on tourist visa 10 years ago and stayed in various parts of the city doing odd jobs.
Few months ago he rented a room in Mallimakanapura in Hosakote and did not pay rent for the last three months.
The manager of the building identified as Shivakumar warned Bobby and later locked up the room and confiscated his belongings towards payment of the rent .
On Monday Bobby came to meet his friend and he had a heated argument with Shivakumar when he demanded him to return his refrigerator.
The verbal fight was pacified and Bobby returned only to come back to Shivakumar’s house in the evening to fight.In the melee Bobby smashed Shivakumar’s head against the wall,killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene .
The other tenants noticed Shivakumar lying dead in pool of blood and informed the jurisdictional Nandagudi police .
The police have registered a case of murder and arrested Bobby, who confessed to the murder and further investigation is on.
