Three people were killed in separate road accidents reported from Bellandur,Whitefield,and K R Puram on Monday,police said.
A 27-year-old biker was killed after his two-wheeler skid and fell near the Ibbur Junction.
The deceased,identified as Sachin Vahane,27,was riding at high speed when he lost control of the bike and fell on the road,police said.
He was employed with a private company.Bellandur traffic police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
In another incident,an autorickshaw driver was killed and three passengers injured after the vehicle overturned near a Shell petrol bunk on the Whitefield–Sarjapur Road.
The deceased driver has been identified as Swamy (58). The injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.Whitefield traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
In a third incident,a 65-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Devasandra in K R Puram.
The deceased has been identified as Venkataswamy (65). K R Puram traffic police have registered a case and launched a search to trace the vehicle involved.
