A one-year-10-month-old boy playing outside the house was killed after being accidentally run over by a car on saturday.
The deceased,Nuthan,was the son of Devika and Munesh from Mandya district .
According to police,the child was playing in front of the house when the car in a bid to reverse run over the boy.
The severely injured Nuthan was rushed to the hospital where the doctors the doctors declared him as brought dead .
The family,originally from Boovinadoodige in Malavalli taluk of Mandya district,had come three days ago to visit the house of their relative,Mohan.
The Madanayakanahalli police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against the driver for further investigation.
In another incident,a 25-year-old software engineer was killed and his friend was injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a divider on Electronic city phase one in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased Vishal Kaur and his friend returning home after having late night dinner.
Police suspect that the Vishal was riding the bike in rash and negligent manner lost control and crashed into the divider and both fell of the bike and sustained severe injuries .
Passers-by rushed them to a near-by hospital where Vishal succumbed while his friend is being treated in ICU.
The electronic city police have registered a case of self accident and rash and negligent driving and death due to negligence against Vishal for further investigation.
