Anshu Kumar Appointed Chief Superintendent of Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.
Hours after cracking whip on the three prison officials , the state government on Monday transferred Anshu Kumar,Superintendent of Police,Prisons,and posted him with immediate effect as Chief Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison,Parappana Agrahara,Bengaluru,until further orders.He replaces K.Suresha,who has been transferred.
According to the official notification,the post of Chief Superintendent of Prison,Central Prison,Parappana Agrahara,Bengaluru,has been declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of Superintendent of Police,Mandya,under Rule 12 of the IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
