The indiranagar police are on the lookout for a man for allegedly sexually harassing a 33-year-old woman who was on a morning walk.
The woman lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the man performed an obscene act in public,and attempted to sexually harass her near Doopanahalli, Indiranagar,on November 1.
According to the complaint,the alleged incident took place around 11.57 a.m.
The woman was walking near Wind Chimes Apartment on 5th Main Road,2nd Stage,Domlur,when an unidentified man approached her,exposed himself and began masturbating in public.
Shocked by the act,she immediately ran towards her house for safety.
She told the police that the accused was around 30 years old,dark-complexioned,was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
The woman informed her neighbour and later narrated the incident to her friend who suggested filing a complaint.
The Indiranagar police have registered a case of obscene act in public,sexual harassment,and intention to outrage the modesty of a woman.
Efforts are on to trace the man based on the description provided by the complainant.
