A day after a gig worker was murdered and his friend sustained in a road rage incident,another case of attempted murder over a minor road altercation was reported in the city on Thursday.
The victim, Prateek,a game developer working at a reputed software company,was allegedly attacked by two unidentified men after his bike brushed against another vehicle while he was on his way to office around 11:30 a.m.near Puttenahalli.
According to police,the duo stopped Prateek,snatched his bike key,and attacked him,hitting his head with a blunt object, leaving him bleeding.
Prateek was rushed to a private hospital,where he received treatment for his injuries.Later,he went to the Puttenahalli Police Station reportedly still bleeding and filed a complaint.
The complaint was registered two hours after he reached the station.The Puttenahalli Police have now registered a case against two unidentified individuals and are investigating the incident.
