A 34-year-old Head Constable of City Armed Reserve Force serving as escorts vehicle driver of opposition leader R.Ashoka,ended life at his house in Byatarayanapura police station limits on Wednesday.
The deceased Sharanappa,native of Kalaburagi was working as driver for the last two and half years.
He was living with his wife Shailashri,police constable working as constable with Magadi Road traffic station and has two daughters in Bapujinagar.
The incident occurred when no one was at home .
He did not attend the duty and handed over the charge to replacement driver stating that he needs to go to Mantralaya for personal work.
The suicide came to light when his brother-in-law visited the house and found him hanging .
The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained as there was no death note found.
The Byatarayanapura police have shifted the body and taken up a case.
Mr.Ashok who visited the spot expressed shock.He was a good person with no bad habits silent and living with family with no issues .
