Girinagar police arrested two robbers including MBA graduate and his assistant recovered stolen property

he Girinagar police on Sunday arrested a 29-year-old MBA Graduate and his 18-year-old assistant for robbing valuables and bike from a civil contractor on July 2 to go road trip from MM Hills to Goa with the stolen bike.

The accused has been identified as,Sridhar,29,Nitin Raj,18 year old.

Senior officer told reporters,a civil contractor filed a case stating that some miscreants robbed his bike with Rs.20,000 cash by threatening him and made away with valuables.

Based on the complaint,PI,Deepak L and his crime staff rushed to spot and after collecting information the team swung into action and verified the CCTV footage of around 200 CCTV cameras to identify the accused and arrested them when they returned to the city on Sunday.

Deepak L,Inspector,Girinagar station who led the investigations said that the accused had noticed Lokesh,a civil contractor and resident of Srinagar who was sloshed completely and unable to ride was waiting for his family members to pick him up on roadside .

Lokesh had a party with friends and left alone outside the restaurant.The Hoysala patrolling team confronted him and advised him not to ride in an inebriated condition and offered to drop him home .

But Lokesh said that he will call his family to pick him up and waited on roadside with the bike.

The accused Sridhar,29,MBA graduate and unemployed and Nitin Raj,18, a high school drop out approached Lokesh attacked him before robbing his gold chain,ring, mobile phone and wallet containing Rs.20,000 and sped away after snatching his bike .

The accused soon rode to MM hills on the stolen bike and stayed there for three days .

They even offered donation with the robbed money as penance before heading to Goa to party.

The accused pawned the gold valuables and blew the money on vices in Goa before returning to the city.

The police waiting for the accused pinned them down.

The accused have been booked under robbery and probing further to ascertain their criminal background.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West, Sandeep Patil,DCP South,P Krishnakant,PI,Deepak L and his crime staff who has done a meticulous and tremendous investigation in nabbing the Notorious accused a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
