An 11-month-old baby boy was killed after run over by a car in front of his house in Golarahatti on Magadi Road -Nice road junction on Monday.
The deceased Mohammed Umar Farooq,was playing in front of his house,while his mother was busy in daily chores.
The owner of the house identified as Swamy,a cab driver was reversing the vehicle to go to work,failed to notice the boy plying and run over.
The father of the boy also a driver by profession had gone to work,at the time of the incident .
The baby sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to a near-by hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
Based on the eye witness account,the Kamakshipalya traffic police charged Swamy with death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving for further investigation.
