Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V,conducted an inspection visit to various locations within Moodalapalya Ward of the Govindarajanagar division this morning.
He assessed the conditions and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials for immediate action.
*Visit to Pourakarmika Muster Point:
The Commissioner visited the muster point for pourakarmikas in Ward 127 (Moodalapalya) and carried out an inspection.
He instructed the workers to maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning their designated areas and to report punctually at the muster point every day.
*Inspection of Roads and Footpaths:
While inspecting the roads in the ward, the Commissioner directed officials to immediately repair potholes to ensure smooth and safe movement for vehicles and pedestrians.
Additionally,during the inspection of footpaths,he instructed officials to clean the pedestrian pathways and identify encroachments for prompt removal through appropriate action.
*Measures to Prevent Waterlogging:
To prevent any inconvenience to citizens caused by water stagnation in the ward,the Commissioner instructed officials to identify such spots and take temporary measures immediately,while also formulating a long-term plan for permanent solutions.
*Visit to Indira Canteen:
During his visit to the Indira Canteen,the Commissioner inspected the premises and instructed the staff to maintain cleanliness inside and around the canteen.
*Visit to Urban Primary Health Center:
The Commissioner also visited the Urban Primary Health Center in Moodalapalya,where he reviewed the cleanliness of the facility, availability of medical equipment,and quality of services provided to the public.
He discussed the requirements for additional facilities with the concerned officials.
*Meeting with Officials at Ward Office:
Following the inspections,the Commissioner held a meeting with officials at the Ward Office and issued specific directions regarding various matters observed during the visit.
Joint Commissioner Sangappa and other concerned officials were present during the inspection.
*Workshop for Master Trainers at IPP Hall:
A workshop for master trainers was conducted at the IPP Hall in Malleswaram under the leadership of Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner,Dr. Rajendra K.V.
The workshop was organized in connection with the upcoming social and educational survey of backward classes within the city corporation limits.
Joint Commissioners Arathi Anand and Sangappa,along with master trainers and nodal officers, were present at the workshop.
