Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Inspects Road Development Works and Visits Muster Point

Pommala Sunil Kumar,Commissioner of the Bengaluru North City Corporation,conducted an inspection early this morning of various ongoing development works within the limits and issued instructions for necessary action.

The Commissioner reviewed the progress of road development works spanning approximately 9.7 kilometers from Nagawara to Thanisandra-Bellary Main Road via Bellahalli to Reva Circle on Bagaluru Main Road; approximately 2.5 kilometers from Reva Circle to NH-7 (Bagaluru Cross); and about 3.5 kilometers from Kogilu Village through Agrahara Sampigehalli to the MCECHS Layout.

He issued multiple directives, including the removal of encroachments on pedestrian pathways.

*Visit to Thanisandra Pourakarmikas’ Muster Point:

During his visit to the Pourakarmikas’muster point in Thanisandra,the Commissioner inspected the attendance register.

A discrepancy was found:while the biometric system showed 13 workers absent,only 3 names were marked as absent in the physical attendance register.

The Commissioner issued strict instructions that the muster process must be completed between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM,and warned that those reporting late will be marked as absent.

Supervisors were cautioned and informed that surprise inspections would continue in the coming days.They were directed to maintain proper attendance records going forward.

Joint Commissioner Mohammed Naem Momin,along with the concerned Executive Engineers,Assistant Executive Engineers,and other relevant staff,were present during the inspection.
