CCB’s ANW Wing Arrests 9 among 2 Foreign Nationals Peddlers&consumers;Sealed Supreme Suites lodge rent out to sell Drugs,Rs.1.5 Crore worth synthetic Drugs recovered

The Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch officials on Monday raided hotel supreme suites in Ramamurthy Nagar and arrested two peddlers who rented out the lodge to sell drugs and also provide accommodation to the consumers.

Based on a tip off,a team of officials raided the lodge and arrested Karim,24 and Affan,20 from Putturu and 15 grams of MDMA crystal,Syringes,needles and weighing machine worth three lakh from them.

Probe revealed that the duo had rented out the lodge initially for a business purpose.Since it did not work out and the business was dull,they resorted to peddling drugs .

Investigations revealed that the accused were addicted to drugs and used to source the drugs for personal consumption from a peddler from Nigeria identified as Ismail.Ismail is presently on the run and efforts are on to secure him,a senior officer,said.

The accused started to sell drugs to the addicts and also offered rooms on rent to consume .

The police have booked the accused under NDPS and sealed the lodge.The police also wrote to the authorities concerned to cancel the building license .

City police commissioner,Seemanth Kumar Singh said that the police have stepped the vigil and warned people strict action if they caught selling or consuming drugs .

The duo were among the nine peddlers including two Foreign Nationals arrested for peddling drugs across the city .

The police in total have seized 506 grams of MDMA,50 strips of LSD,85 grams of cocaine,50 grams of hydro ganja total worth Rs.1.5 crore from them.
