Bengaluru:Kalasipalya Police Recovered 22 Gelatin Sticks,30 Live Detonators From 3 Arrested

Investigating the case related to recovery of six gelatine sticks and 12 electronic detonators abandoned near the washroom of Kalasipalya bus stand on July 23.

The Kalasipalya police inspector Kiran S Neligar along with other 60 police personnel and officers track down three labourers working in quarry from Kolar who are part of the purchase and sale of explosives for illegal quarrying and borewell digging .

The accused Ganesh H,Muniraju,38 and Shivakumar,32, from Kolar confessed that they carried the explosives to Kalasipalya to be transported to Kollegal in a private bus for the quarry and borewell digging work.

However they went to use the washroom and saw the transport officials and security guards in Uniform moving around.

Fear of getting caught they dumped the sack containing the gelatine gels and 12 electric detonators and fled the secene.

Based on the CCTV footage the police identified the accused and track them down to their native places and arrested,City Police Commissioner,Seemant Kumar Singh,said .

The police team also found the identities of three more accused who supplied the explosives from their source which manufactured the explosives from the neighbouring state.

“We have considered this as a serious issue and with this case exposed the illegal sale network,Mr.Singh said adding that the efforts are on to track down the other accused who are on the run.

Finally he appreciated the whole team for their commendable job in cracking the case he added.
