A 45-year-old woman was murdered by her husband and son over a property row in Chakanahalli in Kanakapura on Saturday..
The deceased has been identified as,Gowramma,while the accused Shivaraju,50 and his son Siddaraju,28 were on the run.Efforts are on to track them down.
According to the police,Gowramma was separated from husband and son and has lived with another man for the last 10 years.
She has bequeath the property and wanted to sell . Shivaraju got to know and thought she would not share the money with him and son objected.
Gowramma was adamant and went ahead of selling property with the help of her living in partner .
Enraged duo on Saturday followed her to her land situated in Kurubaradoddi and hacked her to death before fleeing the spot.
The Kanakapura rural police have registered a case of murder and investigations are on.
