Ashoknagar police have arrested a 19-year-old food delivery executive for allegedly secretly recording women walking on streets in and around M.G.Road in Bengaluru,and uploading the videos on his social media account after adding Bengali and Hindi songs in the background.
Senior officer said,the accused has an Instagram account.He was recording videos of women walking on the streets and posting them with the tagline‘Bengaluru night life’.“This was to increase the number of followers,” an official said.
A suo motu case has been registered.Sub-Inspector Nabi Saab tracked down the accused and booked him under the IT Act.
