Two people were killed and four others injured when a fertilizer laden truck plough into a bakery and stationery store in Kolala village in Koratagere taluk of Tumakuru district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Rangashamaiah, 65 and Bailappa,65.
The injured Jayanna,Kantharaju,Mohan Kumar and Siddagangamma have been admitted to the hospital and were being treated at the Tumakuru district hospital .
The victims are from neighbouring village and visited the bakery and stationery for purchase when the over speeding truck lost control and plough into the shops .
Due to the impact both the shops damaged and many people standing around escaped narrowly.The truck driver escaped soon after the accident.
Superintendent of Police,KV Ashok,visited the spot and supervised the investigation.
