Three Nigerian National Drug Peddlers arrested by Rajanukunte Police recovered Synthetic Drugs Worth Rs 4.5 Crores

The Rajanukunte police busted a drug racket and arrested three Nigerian Nationals peddling MDMA crystals to their customers concealed in readymade garment packs .

Based on a tip off,a team of police headed by Dileep Kumar KH,Inspector of Rajanukunte police station kept a close watch on the house for few days and conducted raid to recover 2.8 kilos of MDMA crystals,350 grams of Hydro ganja,cash Rs.2 lakh and seven mobile phones from them,CK Baba,Superintendent of Police,Bengaluru urban,said.

Explaining the modus operandi,Mr.Baba said that the accused would conceal the drugs in a cardboard strips used to pack readymade cloths and deliver it to their customers,to hoodwink the enforcement authorities .

The trio had come to India on Medical visa in December and stayed in Delhi before moving to Bengaluru.They over stayed after Visa expiry to peddler drugs .

The accused had made elaborate arrangements to ensure security and rented out a house in some other person names and staying in the house to pack and deliver the drugs.

The accused used to keep a watch outside the house all the time to monitor unusual movements.It was a bigger network and we suspect some more people are involved in this,Mr.Baba,said adding that the investigations are on to ascertain the involvement of others .

The accused did not have any previous criminal history and it was the first time they have been arrested,he added.The police are further investigating to ascertain the source of the drugs and their peddling network .
