Live-in partner arrested in record time by CK Acchukattu police for killing Bengaluru woman,took body on bike to dump in garbage truck

The CK Acchukattu police in a swift action arrested a 32-year-old man from Assam for allegedly murdering his love in partner over a domestic row.

The accused stuffed the body in a plastic bag and disposed in a BBMP garbage truck parked roadside on Saturday night .

The accused,according to the senior officer has been identified as,Samshuddin,who was living together with the victim,Asha,40,at a rented house for the last,1.5 years in Hulimavu.The duo worked as housekeeping staff for a private company.

Investigations revealed that Asha was a widower and originally from Bengaluru,while Samshuddin was married,however,his wife and children resided in Assam.

He moved to the city nearly one and a half years ago, and met the victim at their place of work.

“The victim had two adopted children who stayed in a hostel.”

He further said that the couple used to fight regularly over domestic issues.On June 28,she came home drunk, which,as per the suspect,and heated argument ensued after the accused blamed her for having a relationship with someone else.

In a fit of rage,the accused strangled her and later decided to dispose of the body .

The suspect then wrapped her body inside a blue polythene bag,put it inside another white polythene gunny bag,carried it on his two-wheeler and dumped it inside a parked BBMP garbage truck beside the Sports Complex in CK Achukattu after moving around the body to look for a deserted place to dispose the body .

“He was roaming around looking for deserted places to dispose of the body,”the officer said.

The incident came to light at aound 1.45 am on June 29, Mohamad Mustafa M,a city-based software engineer, saw the bag when he went to dispose of trash inside the truck,noticed strand of human hair with blood stains infested with ants and flies,and alerted the police.

The Police swung into action and analysed CCTV footage before identified Samshuddin as the prime suspect.

He was subsequently arrested in the Hulimavu area,the police said.
