Three including Juvenile arrested by Amruthahalli Police for bludgeoning a man to death over trivial row

The Amruthahalli police have arrested three youth including a juvenile for bludgeoning a 35-year-old man to death over a trivial row on Monday.

The police had initially registered a case of unnatural death after discovering the body of Anjinappa at an isolated place in Manyata Tech park in Akashavani Nagar,suspecting that Anjinappa who was alcoholic might have fell down in inebriated state and died .

However the Post mortem report revealed the cause of death as fatal blow on head indicating that it could be a murder .

Based on the report the police probed further and zeroed in on Premkumar,18 and his associate Darshan Nanjunda,20 and a juvenile .

Inquiry revealed that Anjinappa was mentally disturbed and become alcoholic after his wife deserted him.

He used to beg and do odd jobs to eke out a living.While he was shepherding Sheep in Akashavani Layout,three months ago,he assaulted Prem Kumar for trying to steal the sheep.

Enraged Premkumar wanted to take avenge and on the fateful Monday night,the accused who were returning home after consuming alcohol,confronted Anjinappa, and assaulted him with club and coconut husk found near-by .

The accused have been booked under murder and taken into custody for further investigations.
