The Immigration officials at the Kempegowda International Airport on Thursday caught a 32-year-old woman from Nepal who was trying to board Abu Dhabi bound flight using Indian passport .
The accused Mina Kumari Dhamena,stopped by immigration officials on suspicion to verify her tourist visa .
The officials questioned her and came to know that she is resident of Nepal but had valid Indian Passport .
Further questioning revealed that she was born in Nepal and had come to India in 2012,stayed in UP before shifting to Bengaluru.
A cook by profession,Dhamena managed to get voters ID and Pancard through an agent using which she applied for the Indian passport.She was planning to visit UAE on tourist visa to find a job .
The accused has been booked under Passport Act and also under forgery and using forged documents for further investigation.
This is the second incident in the last one week as Sushmita Rai,26, was caught by the immigration officials while trying to board a flight to Hongkong on employment visa and valid Indian passport.
