The Traffic police carried out a special drive against school vehicle drivers who are under the influence of alcohol and booked 58 drivers for driving drunk .
The special drive carried for three hours from 7 am on Monday and a total number of 4559 school vehicle drivers were checked for consumption of alcohol out of which 58 drivers were found positive for alcohol
test.
Drivers who found positive for alcohol.The accused drivers were booked under IMV act and
the DL’s of the concerned drivers were sent to respective RTO’s for suspension,according to an official release.
