The Ashoknagar traffic police are on the massive manhunt for the speeding Canter vehicle driver who is on the run after involved in serial accident killing a 36-year-old woman and Injuring her husband at Mayo hall junction on Monday evening.
The accused carrying waste material driving recklessly from cauvery junction emporium towards Mayo hall.
Due to over speeding he was unable to control the vehicle and crashed into two cars which were waiting at the signal.
Panicked accused later in a bid to escape knock down the motorcycle and later crashed into signal light pole before halt .
Due to the impact Anjali riding pillion slipped from the bike and came under the moving truck while bike rider Vijaya Kumar,40 was also sustained multiple injuries . Vijaya Kumar is a businessman
Passers rushed the couple to a nearby hospital where Anjali was declared brought dead,while vijaya kumar was being treated at the hospital.
The accused driver sensing trouble escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle.
The Ashok nagar traffic police have registered a case of hit and run based on the complaint by Hameej,PK,driver of the car which was damaged in the accident.
The police have asked the FSL team and team of experts to ascertain the exact reason for the accident.
