The Srirampura police have arrested a 22-year-old mechanic for sexually assaulting a seven-year old girl after luring her with candies near the garage he was working on Monday.
The accused Parthiban working at a garage,lured the victim residing close by and took her home in Okalipuram and sexually assaulted her.
The girl returned home crying and the parents noticed marks on her private parts,took her to the doctor where it was confirmed sexual assault .
Based on the complaint,the Srirampura police arrested the accused charging him under POCSO Act and remanded him to judicial custody.
