An automobile shop situated on JC road gutted and goods and materials worth over one crore damaged due to accidental fire broke out on Saturday .
The fire was noticed by the staff of the neighbouring shop and alerted the police at around 9 pm .
The police summoned the fire control room and two tenders along with fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot on time and after three hours of operation.
No one was injured in the mishap and the fire and emergency service personnel roped in JCB to break open the fire to contain the raging flames and prevent them from spreading to the adjacent shops .
The SJ Park police have registered a case and are investigating further to ascertain the exact cause of the fire .
