A truck driver was killed and two others injured in a serial accident occurred on Hebbal flyover near Kodigehalli in the wee hours on Saturday.
The truck carrying granites coming towards the city failed to notice the garbage truck which broke down and parked on the side of the flyover.
Due to rash driving the driver failed to notice the parked truck and crashed into it .
Due to the impact the truck leaned onto the garbage truck and the stones fell on the flyover .
Meanwhile a cab carrying a family coming from the same directions crashed into the truck while negotiating the stones fell on the road and jumped onto the median and stopped .
The cab driver though injured got down and helped the passengers to get down from the backside of the vehicle.
Passers-by rushed to the spot and shifted the truck driver identified as Fayaz Ahmed to the near-by hospital where he was decalred as brought dead.
The cab driver and the passengers also sustained injuries but said to be out of danger .
Traffic on the flyover was disrupted for sometime,until the Hebbal traffic police rushed to the spot and cleared the road.The Hebbal traffic police have registered a case and are investigating .
