Devanahalli Police raided rave party and Detained 31 Party Revellers In Bengaluru For Possessing Drugs

The Northeast Division police on Sunday morning raided a farm house near Kannamangala Gate in Bengaluru on Sunday morning and detained as many as 31 people including seven women .

The revelers according to the police reportedly consumed drugs and were subjected to medical examination,police said.
Despite rain,the party was in full swing with loud DJ music which grabbed the attention of few locals.Few villagers noticed suspicious activities and alerted the police .

Based on the information,the police team visited the spot in mufti for confirmation before raiding the premises .

Senior officer said out of the 31 detained,24 were men and 7 women,many of them said to be software professionals from other states drugs like Cocaine, Ganja and Opium along with liquor bottles were seized from the spot.

All those caught were subjected to dope tests,and results were awaited .

Some revelers managed to escape from the spot when the police arrived and efforts are on to identify and track them down, a police officer part of the raid,said.

The farmhouse belongs to the one identified as Syed Aseed,who is yet to be traced.

Meanwhile,the organizer and caretaker of the farm house has been taken into custody,and further investigation is underway to identify the organisers and suppliers behind the party.

The police have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, .
initial probe revealed that the party was organised for on the pretext of birthday and the invitees are through the mobile whatsapp group a person’s birthday celebration.

It was found that drugs were used throughout the night.
Police suspect that the some peddlers are also attended the party all the revelers have been taken into custody and questioning to ascertain the source of drugs .

Blood and urine samples of all 31 people have been collected and sent to the FSL lab for examination. Further action will be taken based on the reports,a senior police officer,supervising the raid, said .
