President of Dr.Ambedkar sene,a city based dalit organisation filed a complaint with the SC-ST tribunal and with city police commissioner citing threat perception from a man from Kerala.
In his complaint,Mr.Babu said that the accused identified as Shannil called him on official number and threatening him with dire consequences.
The accused according to the complaint is habitual blackmailing people and three complaints filed against him.
It is alleged that he mainly kidnaps people from Karnataka take them to kerala and loots money from them.
He is using kerala BJP leaders name for his criminal activities.
This amounts to misuse of names,criminal intimidation black mailing and threat to life which needs to be dealt severely.The accused Shannil claims he is from Kerala Ernakulam and Trichur also.
The police based on the complaint initiated probe to track down the Accused.
