A 35 year old woman was killed when part of the compound collapsed belonging to the complaint where she was working as house keeping staff in Mahadevapura on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Shashikala working for a private company in channasandra.
She was cleaning the premises after late night heavy rain at around 7 am when the incident occurred.
The compound was weakened due to rain and collapsed and she was buried under the debris.
The other staff rushed to the spot and rescued her and shifted to hospital where she declared as dead.
The Mahadevapura police have visited the spot and conducted a spot investigation.The deceased from Yadgir came to city along with family to work.She left behind her husband a daily wage labourer and two children.
