The Special Inquiry wing officials of the Central Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested a 43-year-old HR Executive for cheating youth promising jobs in reputed companies.
The accused Patnool Khalandar Khan,resident of JP Nagar has been arrested based on a complaint filed by one of the victim,.
Senior officer told reporters that the accused had come to Bengaluru in last year in search of job and joined a private company as HR consultant .
He used to make fake assurances to unemployed youth approaching him promised to get a job in MNCs and IT companies .
The accused had cheated the complainant and taken Rs.2.7 lakh promised to accommodate her in MNC.
The accused had even cheated as many as eight people and taken Rs.14.2 lakh in the last few months .
The officials have also booked two more accused identified as Veeresh and Inayath who are presently on the run.
Efforts are on to track down the accused,the police,said. The police have recovered Rs.1.5 lakh from him and probe is on to recover the rest of the money .
