numanthanagar police have busted a online cricket betting racket and arrested two bookies who are operating the racket through a Philippines based online betting site .
Based on the tip off,a team of police track down the bookies and caught them red handed while they were busy with the punters during the ongoing IPL T-20 matches .
The accused confessed to the police that they are operating the racket through “dafabet”website and placing the bets online through the punters.
The police have seized cash Rs.4,100 and a mobile phone,booked them under Karnataka Police Act and later released on bail .
